Regardless of your position, your career line or the industry/field you are in, you are going to receive some sort of feedback -both positive and negative-. In both cases, and especially when the feedback is negative, it’s vital for you not to let it dictate how you feel about yourself and about your achievements.
Of course it is beneficial to evaluate feedback from others to see if it has any value or merit. However, automatically becoming defensive towards critical feedback or automatically believing that the negative feedback is fully true isn’t helpful for you. Be confident!
How you feel about yourself is your choice.
