Easily Create “Obama style” graphics with Photoshop
Easily show your support! This tutorial will show you how to use Photoshop to quickly turn your photograph into a graphic that has the “Obama style”. WIth Obama the internet was used at its fullest so this tutorial seems to be something in tune with his campaign! especially that today is his inauguration day. Start with your photograph, set the mode to CMYK.
Hit ctrl+M to pop up the curves window. Set channel to black, output to 70 and input to 35.
Then go to filter > Blur > Smart Blur. Set Radius to 2, threshold to 50 and quality to high.
Revert back to RGB Mode. Go to Image > adjustments > Gradient Map. Set the first color at location 0% (blue color: #03334c ), the second color at location 25% ( red color: #d91a21), the third point of the gradient at location 60% (color: #70969e) and the last one at location 100% (color #fce3a6). and hit OK. You will obtain this:
Add some ornaments and text to customize it more.
Tweak it a bit more with Mask layers, dodge and burn tools and you’re quickly done.
This was a tutorial written on the fly for the occasion of Obama’s inauguration day! Let’s say we’re full of hope right now for the future.

Those are just NOT the colours of the real obama campaign theme. So that's a shame! You should call it Obama like graphics, not Obama style graphics! That's not fair if you really hope to see something like the Obama campaign posters! But, appart of that, I REALY like the design of this site!!! It's so happy, and alive!

I wanted to create something similar with the easiest way to make it accessible and easy to reproduce! I can make another tutorial where the cutout effect is clearer and the final result will be closer to that style. Just let me know if you want that tutorial!

Wow Ned thought that was a little harsh. I found the tutorial quite easy to follow. Just used a picture of my wife and found the final effect to make her look quite hot.

Obama fever is really contagious. The Obama style campaign poster is really a big hit that so many people would want to copy it in honor of the victory of President Obama. Further, the photo signifies all the hopes of American people, especially in the midst of economic crisis and instability. The easy step tutorial made it possible to create an inspired photo. Even if it is not the exact feature, it still has a close resemblance to the original campaign photo. I will definitely try it and photoshop a picture of a friend who has more resemblance to the original Obama.

Not too long ago, I was? laid-off, and one day wihen i was researching a magazine for work (true story) and one of their articals was on persol Oakley Sport Sunglasses for the new school year. their prices ranging from $9 to $10 and not only for frames but also? lenses. So I scanned it. And i cannot help making wow!!!! The glasses were fucking wonderful ! I then followed to see if this was some kind of wicked? trick. I think this gives a nice neon type affect to the picture. I do think it can be hard using effects in photshop so it doesn't look like you have used them though, if you know what I mean.
